I am brand new to this forum, so plz forgive my ignorance. I've browsed through here several times but haven't ran into any answers for this problem I'm having. Here goes:
I have brand new Sprint Touch Pro 2 with v6.5, flashed to work with Boost. All features work good other than hanging up & being as cantankerous as my PC. I went to the Sprint store a few days ago & got them to copy my contacts from my blackberry to tp2, as well as transfer my micro sd card into the new phone. For a while, I could find my pics on that card easily. Now they're gone.
Here's what I remember happening. I went into the Windows Marketplace & browsed the apps. I chose to download two free ones, Shazam & Desktop Customizer. When prompted, I chose to store them on the card, instead of the phone because of space concerns.
When I looked through my apps, I saw the two new ones but they didn't have good icons showing for them. Rather, they looked like they weren't installed correctly & I was right. So I uninstalled them & did a soft reset.
Every since then, when I power the phone off & back on, I get this question, "Do you want to format this storage card to make it readable? This will permanently delete any files on the card."
Well of course I chose "no," over and over again. But then I realized that my pictures were no longer showing up on the SD card's drive. So I tried to view them with my computer & "NOPE," not there anymore. After that, I went ahead & clicked "yes" the next time it asked to format it, to which it responded, "This storage card has been successfully formatted."
Problem is, I can't use the card and I still get the question every single time I turn the phone on. Will someone please tell me what has happened or what I can do to make a storage card work the way it's supposed to in here? I would greatly, greatly appreciate it!!!! Thank you, Liddy!
