Re: Can I turn the "phone" off while using TP2 as a wi-fi router?
If you're using it for internet access you're using the phone!
So you can't turn off the phone radio, but you could turn off the ringer.

wasn't there a setting you can toggle so that calls go straight to voicemail instead of interupting an active data session?? in the phone settings options, DDTM on?

Do you know how to be polite or helpful?
This is not what we're about at ppcgeeks. Maybe you've found the wrong community. |

OK, these sound like what I want to do, but I don't see the voicemail thing in phone settings or as an Outlook event. Am I looking in the wrong places? (and what does DDTM mean, please, that's an acronym I'm not familiar with). |

Re: Can I turn the "phone" off while using TP2 as a wi-fi router?
what rom are you using and are you using cookies home editor?
go here: settings/sound and display/ and you'll see it. You cant completely stop calls from coming in, just like everone above said you cant turn off the phone like you want cause you need the radio to do your wifi tethering ddtm kills the data connection during a call or incoming call i know there is a hack on the moto q to turn it off in the field test menu to allow both to occur Last edited by ooxteme; 09-16-2010 at 09:48 AM. |
