Re: SOD even after hard resets? :(

phone may be compatible but its just buggy. its useless goin through replacements over an SOD just to have 6.5, its not that much different than 6.1

Re: SOD even after hard resets? :(

its the rom, its not 6.5. Ive been running 6.5 forever and have never had even one sod. go back to 6.1 if you want of i suggest trying a custom 6.5 rom. The difference may be slight but theyre worth it for me and many others.

Re: SOD even after hard resets? :(

Yeah... Or you can just get it replaced on the spot at the Sprint store like I did and have WinMo 6.5 already installed and have no issues with the rom.
But of course it's up to you.
Good luck bro.

Re: SOD even after hard resets? :(

I get these every single day. I have one right now. I was playing Slacker radio, and I turned the screen off and let it play. It played about half a dozen songs, then just stopped. Upon pressing the power button, NOTHING happens. I cannot turn on the phone without soft resetting it. It does this at LEAST twice a day. That is why on Oct 1 I am dumping this piece of garbage and getting either an Epic or the Evo. As soon as I get the phone working the way I want it, another issue pops up and it makes me rage so much I contemplate destroying the phone.

Wirelessly posted (Sprint Touch Pro 2: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

lol @ some of the previous posts. i think its time for another tp2, i have had it since january, been running 6.5 since the day after it came out and never had this issue until recently. so i think its the phone...

well ive seemed to have resolved the issue for now. i held the power button pretty hard until the screen finally came on lol. its been working every since, not one sod @ all. also there is no sprint store around me @ all...
