Yeah eric I've been hearing answers only from you lol. I just felt like getting specific answers to my questions from the OP.

Also I am going to get one of the newer TP2's that were modified with a 6.5 rom (Which sprint has done only about 6 months ago) from sprint. Is it only a software difference (rom), is the hardware the same; or is it a hardware difference too? I mean if it is a hardware difference then I'm assuming winmospeed won't work, but if it is a software difference with same hardware and programmed the same then I guess it will work.

My Sprint TP2 is on its way, I hope to receive it on Monday.

Eric, do I install this winmospeed app on my storage card or my phone memory? I just got my TP 2 so how do I install it?

install on phone.
It will reset to default speed if you soft-rest.
So you dont need to put on storage.

Re: *OVERCLOCK* Specific OCT V1.5 Settings

But will it perform the same if I put it on storage? How often will I need to soft reset anyway?

Also I heard if it is too high clock there is no way to fix it if its on the phone while if it is on the sd card you can remove it.

Thanks.

Thanks.
It will perform same, and card installation not necessary.
It was a problem with some other versions.
This app has feature that it will "let go" after a soft-reset.
So if you overclock too high and freeeeeze, just soft-reset.

Once you know how high you can or want to go,
Make shure you dont select highest, but one step down.

Then you can set it up to always be that speed:
You can press button to "create link with actual settings"
then goto your "programs" folder,
goto the app folder and copy the new link,
then goto "windows/startup" and past shortcut/link there.
It will now auto start at the selected speed on every reset.

isnt it going to take up phone memory if you install it on phone memory?
Also I still misunderstand why you gave me the suggestion to install on phone rather than sd card?

"This app has feature that it will "let go" after a soft-reset."
"It will now auto start at the selected speed on every reset."

What are you talking about here?

Set my speed at 729 I hope my phone will last me at least a year or 2 without flaws.
