Benchmarking overclocked TP2s
Now that we have good options for overclocking the TP2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=162 and http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=281 Does anyone have any ideas for measuring the impact of different clock speeds in an objective way? For example is there a video player that will display the amount of frames per second it is able to process or a calculation intense procedure that we can have the TP2 time? I considered using a stopwatch to measure boot-up time, but realized that the methods we have set the clock speed late in the boot process, so I couldn't expect any change in speed.

my results from benchmark test at 518mhz and at 787mhz

you should probably thank mangomango for posting spb benchmark for you to do those tests

I been running spb bench ever since OCing became possible, and posted link to the download cab few weeks ago on this forum. Also those tests were done about 5 days prior to the time of my post in this thread, since its a copy from my other thread-and there i thanked all that were involved
