Re: disable windows lock on startup
so i got it off. what i did was....
HKCU\Security\Software\Microsoft\Acitvesync\ Partners \{A5BE8273-6B49....}\Policies DevicePasswordEnabled = 0 ....and after playing around i found that this un-grayed the check box for the mandatory lockscreen under the keyconfig menu screen. i was able to un-check the box and voila no more wm6.5 device locking. hope this works for anyone else that may have this issue. found it on my own searching the registry and googling the key here is the ms page with definitions of the registry keys under that entry. UPDATE: i wanted to add in case someone reads this. but in addition to the reg edit in my post i also had to make the reg edit posted by nursemm05 after both edits the select box in the keyconfig setting was un-grayed.
