actually this is an app to control the built in lock. ANY option you want relating to power/connectivity/lock is in there. unfortunately that makes it hard to organize and explain all the options. Just so you know HTC_CM_GUARDIAN cant just, be erased... itll keep coming back.. people who convert to MetroPcs know all about this.. a dummy file has to be put in its place inorder for it not to come back after a reset..

i have the same problem with an exchange server setting requiring a pin on startup and lock.

I think the solution would be to use a locking app like pocketshield or s2u2 and set it so it doesn't autorun at startup. Then when you are not going to be using it for a while manually activate the lock.

this is what I did and it worked.
Enable/Disable Exchange Security Policy

Registry Key: HKLM\Security\Policies\00001023
To enable it: Set value to 0
To disable it: Set value to 1

this didn't work for me. does anyone know if it could be a different policy number?
