Re: disable windows lock on startup
I installed s2u2 again to look. in the settings, advanced tab there is an option to replace wm6.5 system manual lock and 'don't lock system' I have turned on the replace wm lock and used both settings for 'don't lock system' neither one stop the startup of the windows lock after a reset.

Re: disable windows lock on startup
thats what mine is also set to and it disables mine. you could always just delete the whole lock at start up by using your file explorer and in the windows/startup/ then delete the lock from there then is will never come back. but i dont know how that will effect the locking for exchange you need to have

Re: disable windows lock on startup
my first thought was to delete the lock app in windows/startup but there's nothing listed. I have PKG, quickmenu, services in that folder at startup. I have it set to show hidden and system files so it's not there. I am just at a loss here!

Re: disable windows lock on startup
I too connect with Exchange that requires a 4 digit pin. To get around this I use Zenyee Stay Unlock http://journal.zenyee.com/2008/10/19...ter-two-years/
Now instead of having to unlock every 15 mins I just have to unlock once at bootup and then I'm free as a bird!!! |

Re: disable windows lock on startup
do you have anything in your startup called HTC_CM_GUARDIAN? if you do get rid of that also it keeps all the stock bs setting/reg edits and what not ant looks then replaces if not found
