Re: New SERO Oct 1st

There is no unique contract for sero, and all the legal stuff has stayed the same since I was selling phones since 2000:

http://shop.sprint.com/en/legal/lega...cy_popup.shtml

Take a good read at that Nerys

Re: New SERO Oct 1st

me? hell no. but a class action about unethical terms changes would probably succeed and would bypass arbitration crap in the contract OR they would concede in arbitration. I have not even CLOSE to the financial means to do that so yeah but no.

How do you figure that? They have not changed your contract in the slightest bit. They are simply offering another OPTIONAL service. That doesn't seem unethical to me. You have simply lost all credibility on this forum dude.

Re: New SERO Oct 1st

those terms include nothing on hardware usage in this context. they are also not even remotely close to "original" since they contain much about services that did not even exist 5 years ago.

is this just people NOT reading this thread and just jumping in?

lets get this clear ONCE AGAIN. when I signed onto sero I was permitted by the terms with sprint to use ANY technology compatible phone I wish. No guarentee they would subsidize it but if I bought ANY sprint labeled power vision phone all I needed to do was call sprint and USE IT.

NOW they are saying its DIFFERENT NOW. now they are saying SOME PHONES I can not use.

IN FACT they are saying some phones I USED to be able to use now I can not use.

Example the 8530 was perfectly OK on sero. Now its not.

if that is not a CHANGE in terms I don't know what is.

please define for me change in terms.

If your contract has changed in a way that you did not originally agree to, they have to notify you (usually on your bill). They also have to offer you t he option of cancelling your contract with no penalties within a reasonable time frame (usually 30 days from notice which is reasonable). SO, if your contract changed, and all you did was piss and moan about it for 30 days and didnt cancel, you have just agreed to the new terms, and are thenceforth under a new, revised contract under your own permission by submission.

If I were you, and as upset as you are, I would drop Sprint like a ton of hot bricks and go running with tears in my eyes to Verizon. See if they get close to that Sero my friend

See my post above Anytime your contract changes, you are free to cancel within a reasonable time frame. Contracts are subject to change (which you agreed to on your first contract) and with those changes, if you dont agree to new terms, you can leave with no penalties.
