Re: Removing Verizon bloatware apps?

No program can remove things that are stored in ROM. The best they can do is remove things like shortcuts that are in storage memory, but those take up very little space. The only way to actually remove them and shrink the size of the ROM is with a custom ROM.

If you want to uninstall some of the shipped apps use sktools like razor said or you could try tms uninstaller.
i tried tms uninstaller the only thing i could delete was programs off the sd card is there a setting i gotta change so i can delete the stuff off the device thanks
Well, if you want to uninstall apps like Sprint Nav you should be able to have tms Show All installed apps or set it to show apps not listed as installed in the regular Remove Programs section of settings.
I know for a fact that sktools does this.
Now, like MiamiSon said you can't completely remove all traces of these apps in rom (for example removeing cabs) but you can uninstall the apps.

Yea, I know....I personally got a TP2 about 2 weeks ago and right now I am fine with how it works, never mind a very slow new 6.5 rom releases right now (I had a titan that I was flashing every week a month-ish ago).

Word was saying, no more 6.5 roms, as everything is going into "7"...

So I guess I am stuck with what I have for now...

Re: Removing Verizon bloatware apps?

I installed sktools but not all of the programs installed on the stock ROM show up. The only ones that show up are the ones on my storage card. I modified the settings to show all applications but that's all it shows.

Re: Removing Verizon bloatware apps?

I just installed tms uninstaller but cannot change the options. It has been greyed out. I installed the only version I could find; version 1.0.
