Re: Help Data Failure - Code 67 Registration error on Forced Roam?

Ok - I put up with it & kind of forgot about it this weekend.
But now all of sudden I am getting a - 'Hand's Free Setup - Cannot connect to the network'.

The Comm Manager seems to hang all day.

Geesh.

Re: Help Data Failure - Code 67 Registration error on Forced Roam?

I hard resetted & called tech support who basically did the ##3382# > PW > Restore thing.
Since my update profile didn't take without calling tech support.
In retrospect, I may have jumped the gun & hard reset too hastily.
Oh well. Live & learn.
Thanks all for the insights.

They must've changed something on the system this past week as I am seeing lots of posts pop up on the board about network connectivity issues.

Re: Help Data Failure - Code 67 Registration error on Forced Roam?

Geez, out of the blue tonight, my TP2 decided to give me this Error:67 error. It's bad enough my cell service at home is practically non-existant and we rely on the Airave. Thanks to all above that helped me out with this. #12 worked perfectly!

Re: Help Data Failure - Code 67 Registration error on Forced Roam?

Well my Error:67 is back.
Using data on force roam is not possible at the moment.

Calls work. But Force Roaming will trigger an Error 67 for me.
I am at a lost for words.

Have you tried a different PRL or updated your PRL lately?
What Rom and radio are you using?

Been stock from day 1 with the tweaks from these boards but nothing exotic or customize.

Still at 60670 on the PRL...even though I know we've been on 60671 for awhile now.

Just to give some time perspective, it appears that shortly after I pronounced the issue being resolved in the earlier post...I would say the condition reverted back within a month.

Good question & the answer is both I guess.

I have noticed that when I turn on the FORCED ROAMING, I will always get a 1x signal & followed by the Error 67 when my Pocket Outlook tries to ping the hotmail servers or GMail tries to sync.

I just tested again right now from my office & same condition: Data elicits an Error 67 but voice calls work without a hitch.

Re: Help Data Failure - Code 67 Registration error on Forced Roam?

i'm not sure you can 'roam' on evdo.

there are extra settings related to roam authentication, but I think your issue is with the NAI username or shared secrets. (in M.IP customer profile)

Forced Roam in my interpretation is switching to a non-Sprint tower.
So are I was fully aware that Data Roaming is available only 1x.

Can you expand on what you mean in your second statement above please?
