Re: SO glad I went with WM

Granted, I have only had my Rhodium since June 3rd, but I have never seen the SOD (not on Stock or Cooked ROMs).

I have really had minimal issues, nothing that has been such a problem to actually piss me off or regret my decision on buying it.

Now that I finally started to flash ROMs (was a bit scared at first honestly), It makes the phone seem even more amazing to me.

Now I just need to get some accessories to make this phone (even more) perfect.

anything over a few hundred and you will feel the sluggishness, you don't need to keep them empty just keep them lean.

I'll drop my TP2 for a HERO in a heart beat...

You just bought the last Saturn/Pontiac, before it was demolished

.

I have had mine since they became available last year & I've never had a single SOD. My phone never freezes up at all unless I do something stupid & cause it myself (flashed to NRG 23569 standard with CHT added later).

I am picking up a DroidX on Thursday, but it's not because i'm unhappy with the TP2. The TP2 is hands down the best phone I've ever used & I absolutely love the thing.

I will keep the TP2 as an option on a second line & I'm sure I will end up using both phones at times.

i was in the same spot as you last month... got the evo and decided to move my tp2 to my other line. A month later, I find myself using the tp2 less and less. Can't wait to upgrade the 2nd line to either the next great Android or to a Windows Phone 7 device. Only reason i use the tp2 now is for days i need to type a lot to reply to emails and send texts because of work. Keyboard is still king, but a fast Android device is hard to beat.... very enjoyable experience. Once you go to such a fast device with responsive screen, it's hard to look back at resistive and 528MHz.

I just put enterbootloader.exe from the ruu folder onto my sd card. Tap it once and I'm in bootloader within seconds... avoid lots of unnecessary steps

Re: SO glad I went with WM

winmo is dying to me. I would have gone to the EVO long ago if they would let me transfer my SERO plan.

Re: SO glad I went with WM

WinMo is dead. The Rom developer community is the only thing that keeps it churning, and thankfully so!

MS is full steam ahead working on WP7, which will hopefully turn things around for them.
