Re: This touch pro 2 is close to perfect

I feel just like you OP. My TP2 was always good in my opinion, but now it is absolutely PERFECT, and only after a few tweaks (didn't even take me an hour)! I've been hanging around the forums just trying new roms just for the fun of it.

I'm running Mightyrom Full Force with a few cosmetic tweaks to Manila 2.5. The TP2 i awesome!

Re: This touch pro 2 is close to perfect

Touch Pro 2 would be better, not even close to perfect, if it either had more ram or if HTC Sense didn't abuse the ram it does have. Its ridiculous that the phone has to be restarted every few hours to keep the memory down around 50%.

Re: This touch pro 2 is close to perfect

ive been complaining about the touch pro2 for a while now and i realize that the touch pro2 is a GREAT phone EXCEPT it has WM on it. after putting xdandroid on it, it's like a whole different phone. but because there is no sound we can't use it as a everyday os. i can't c y HTC and the cell phone carriers doesn't just say here is a updated rom for your touch pro2 but it has android on it. then the touch pro2 would b PREFECT! at least it would hold me over until the samsung galaxy S PRO comes out.

i dont ever get involved in little squabbles, i find that people can be a little callous and rude in their replies at times and that is not helpful at all...however, in a thread that someone started that finally praises the tp2 for its awesomeness instead of complaints about this and that now that there are finally faster (BETTER?) phones entering the market, why would it not be appropriate to mention that on top of all its awesomeness, the android dev is coming along making the possibilities of this phone even greater?
seems perfectly fitted for this thread to me, having the ability to customize your phone to the extent that it will run an entire different OS.
hopefully this wont be considered another "fanboy" post, just my opinion of ALL the available options that make this phone rock even in its older age.
and to clear up any confusion, i was not referring to your reply as callous or rude or otherwise unhelpful, i was referring to the rude comment that triggered your mediation.

i talked alot of trash about htc after the tp debacle...i'm still on my 1st tp2 (listening to music on it right now)...this thing is solid. i'm seriously thinking about buying another one, just to keep on the shelf. i use the hd2 for most things because of the speed, but i still rock my tp2!
