Verizon Touch Pro2 MR2 Update includes Sense 2.5

Is anyone else having bluetooth issues? Outgoing call work in my truck, but incoming does not. Mr1 was fine, but strarted after flashing Mr2. Input anyone?

Yeah, I am having issues with this too. One time the phone will connect to my helmet audio unit with both the BT phone and the MP3 player and then the next time no connection with the phone, next time with nothing!

Very frustrating. One thing they have done is to allow the BT to connect to the music and the phone without going into the settings menu VERY NICE!!

With the stock rom I am also having SOD, and no way to shut the programs down. I hit the X on the pandora and it will keep playing unless I pause it

unfortunately, they left out the taskmanager that can set the X to close programs, intead of just minimizing them. just install this cab to get the task manager back http://www.forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpo...02&postcount=5

If the bugs get worked out this easily maybe I will cancel my order for the Incredible.

The look and feel of this build is sooooo much nicer than the old one. If these stupid little problems would just get resoved I would be more happy with it.

after installing the cab, you have to go to start-settings-menu-all settings-system-task manager, then click on the button tab and select "end program by tapping X"

Mr. X' Fixed MR2 fixes both SOD ( if you leave your display on when charging ) and the missing task manager. Here.

Two things,

I got the MR2 ROM and I ran the no push internet cab. I have the Touch X task manager. After a soft reset the memory usage is in the 50% range, but but the end of the day it creeps up into the 70s pretty easily and I've seen it up as high as into the 80s. I never did MR1, I was on the original 6.1 before I came to this ROM. With the no push internet and such I was seeing 50% range after a soft reset and after a long long time never saw memory usage above 63% when nothing was running. I'm guessing sense 2.5 uses more memory than the old TouchFlo, and possibly the task manager is using some memory. So my question is does anyone have any other suggestions? When I get back home from my trip I am going to get Clean Ram and use that, but is there anything else your guys would recommend to do?

The second thing is when I'm talking on the phone you can hear yourself through the earpiece of the handset when you speak. If a text message comes in I hear whatever chimes it makes but then the ability to hear yourself talking goes mute in the handset. I can hear the others talking, but when I speak I no longer hear myself talk. It's not a major issue, but it's an annoyance. When it first happens I keep thinking the call has dropped. I've had it where it starts back up in the handset on a call after a while, but I've also had it where it just doesn't come back until the next call. Anyone have any ideas on that? Thanks guys.

Well....My TP2 has been hung on SOD all day. Never comes up. Many battery pulls to shut down and attempted restarts. Time to unlock and flash the "Fixed ROM". Let the Flashing begin!
