help me fix my phone problems with a new rom plz

also when u click on download mightyrom rhodiumw. it takes u to his site, but theres no place to download, u have to click on 1 on popular downloads, there 3, take u to another link, so which one do i want. they all say there for cdma they look the same, but are they different??

Don't worry, I was also very confused on the Task29 thing, I had no clue what to do, so normally I didn't use it. But if you look at this post it's much easier. All you have to do is run that .exe when your phone is synced to activesync, it's just like flashing a ROM, if you download from the post I linked you to you don't have to worry about putting anything in the .exe you can just run it. But BEFORE you do that make sure your phone is unlocked!! That is a must! Seeing that you're coming from the Stock ROM you don't HAVE to do this, but you can. Task 29 essentially from what I understand is like flashing back to the Stock ROM, it gets rid of bits and pieces from other ROM's.

But keep in mind, if you do run this .exe to do a Task 29 keep in mind your phone won't boot. Here is a great video to explain Task 29 from someone over at XDA I believe. After a Task 29 it's easiest to flash the ROM from an SD card. If you're not using a SD card to flash your ROM I would not recommend doing a Task 29 right away, you don't HAVE to do it. It might make things more difficult, so unless you're flashing from a Micro SD card I wouldn't recommend a Task 29 right away.

If you go here (just click on the download link) you will find the latest official release of Mighty Rom, which means it is the closest to the Stock ROM, but a lot faster, with a lot of unneeded stuff taken out.

If you want something with more features, or more put into the ROM I believe, you might want to choose the Mighty ROM special edition which is here (again just click the download link).

Lastly there is the Mighty ROM full force this one is based on Windows Mobile 6.5.x, and has more features. I personally do not like the 6.5.x ROMs no matter what they seem slower. So if you're looking for speed I would stick to a 6.5 ROM, but that's just my opinion. Hope this helps.

thx guys i did it. i didnt do the task 29 thing, and every thing worked great. i also installed the black out theme and looks nice. i do have a question. on the screenshots mightymax icons are different and the top task bar is different too.
how do i change those. iv looked around but dont know what kind of files they are or what im looking for to change those.

I would learn to do the task29 thing before you're next flash if I were you. The reason is that sometimes the custom ROMs don't write over the whole OS and pieces of the old OS can jack up your phone causing bugs.
someone already posted the task29 without needing to change the radio, it just basically wipes the whole phone without touching the radio. Since you had Sprint 6.5 on your phone, you have the newest Sprint radio, so no need to change it. Custom ROMS do not change the radio in anyway.
Once task29 finishes, the phone will not boot past the boot screen (usually black with Touch Pro2 across it). Once it is there, just push the reset button under the cover while holding the vol down button. This will put it into bootloader so you can flash any ROM.

not necessarily. you might ask about that over in the mightyrom section of the customs. the screen shot might be a different version than what you downloaded. I think there are 3 current MR Roms out there right now.

Look at the top portion of this post and you'll see that you have to install a .cab to get MMS working (MMS is picture and video messaging).
