Re: Trouble with 6.5

i will post this here as well...guys i dont have this problem since i figured what the cause is, the phone goes into sod because it is busy reading from your micro sd, the main culpit is the htc music tab since it keeps scanning for songs everytime, speacially if you have a big card. the solution is to remove the htc music tab and to use another player that automatically generates a playlist i.e. pocket music. since i have done this the famous sod is gone so iadvise you guys to do the same

i second this idea even tho i didn't really experience this unless the phone goes to sleep when the sms/mms screen locks up or if any other application locks up. another issue im having tho is my t9 text correction or suggestions work when i do anything pertaining to messaging .this started happening when i installed the tweaks cab found in the cleanup thread,i've already tried the restore cab too but it still doesn't work.

Re: Trouble with 6.5

i also don't get why Sprint insists on replacing phones of anyone who complains about this thinking its a hardware issue when it isn't ,another ROM update just needs to be created .if these replacements continue the the tp2 will become another tp.

Never had a issue with the Sense Music tab before with the SOD and I use it every day, guess I am just the lucky one. I had a small few issues with SOD on 2.1 but 2.5 has given me no trouble at all.

Re: Trouble with 6.5

So if I disable sense and only use standard 6.5 interface, will I still exp SOD? My guess is probably yes?

Yes. There is no true "cure" for SOD. It tends to happen most when there's a lot going on in th background of the device.

It's just hit and miss, some suffer more than other's. My personal opinion on the whole SOD is user's overworking there phone to do more than its really meant for, but thats just me.
