I was offered Samsung Moment as a replacement for TP1. It's tier 4 phone, together with TP2/TP1/bunch of blackberries. Store manager was actually very nice, but did not realize I was on SERO - no android love for me. So you may get lucky with replacement, not at introduction though...

I don't see why not. They offered me a Hero or a Moment for when I had to get my TP replaced. I went with the TP2 because I have SERO. There could be hope. I'm skipping SERO to get it. I'm hoping I can talk them into a comparable plan that will work with an Android phone.

My TP2 recently developed the rainbow banding. A quick call to Asurion resulted in a free replacement with NIB TP2 - I asked if they had any TP2's in stock, and they guy made it sound like they had about 12 billion on hand.

He also suggested I try a BB Curve
