Is it just me or is windows mobile 6.5 terrible

Drill hole mod to reset??? LOL try using PSshutxp , it just uses a long press of the power button to bring up a screen with a soft reset option...

Bringing this thread back on point....I am looking for people running the stock sprint rom that are having serious issues...if that is not you then this may not be the thread for you. Either you can handle it or you can't

as stated there other threads that address issues people have in a productive manner. We all read your first post and that is why you are getting the responses like these. Your post was complaining which was fine, but it seemed more as if was to complain and find sympathizers. People actually tried to give you advice to HELP. Either you can take the advice or you can't ( or don't want to) but if you are looking for people with issues, there are other threads that do this . Some people are going to find issue with every product they try. If there was a truly perfect phone, there would be no need for any one to have different phones . they ALL have some kind of issue... but at least try some of the practical advice here before making absurd commentary . Multiple people here told you one of the apps you are running has issues with 6.5 , it seems like a good place to start, or better yet, as harsh as this sounds, maybe YOU would be better suited for a DROID. Then at least it will be a different thread in a different forum..Have a great day.

i love 6.1 too, but got tired of the start button at the top of the screen, but it doesnt matter anymore, as i have the start button removed in 6.5...

Haha, you are a silly one. I am taking the advice as I stated in my last post. I have installed the stock sprint ROM and will be using is alone with no mods and see how it does.

I am hoping that this works and I can keep the phone that without the regular freezes I think is perfect.

Also, I did look for a thread about issues with 6.5, but I read through a couple pages and there were no distinct solutions to freezing or anyone stating the frequency that the freezing was occurring. Hence why I started this thread. Thanks to all who have responded to my thread, gotten some good feedback and some good laughs.

the concept of 6.5 is great .. & while like some already stated nothings perfect i still believe for what these phones retail for that out of the box stock they should perform like they do on custom roms(from what i gather from what u say ive only used stock) .. b4 i purchased my first winmo phone, the touch pro 1 i did a decent amount of reading on it & i was totally under the ASSumption the phone was good .. i had no idea i was buying a phone that required massive internet searches to find ways to make it halfway functionable .. when the tp2 was given to me as a swap for tp1 i was very pleased with it compared to how the tp1 performed ... for all the hype about 6.5 & i really thought it would be great .... but it sux ... i know alot of you have the time in ur life & love customizing the phones more then a few .cabs but am i wrong for thinking these phones shouldnt be so sh!tty stock ?

I tried many Roms on my TP and Omnia, but 6.5 is just too slow for what I do... Now once I get my TP2 upgrade 6.5 may run great....But for now, im glad they still post the older Mighty4 on the 6.1 engine, cause it looks great and is fast....
