I am hoping that this works and I can keep the phone that without the regular freezes I think is perfect.
Also, I did look for a thread about issues with 6.5, but I read through a couple pages and there were no distinct solutions to freezing or anyone stating the frequency that the freezing was occurring. Hence why I started this thread. Thanks to all who have responded to my thread, gotten some good feedback and some good laughs.

Okay, look, you're thread is lame and I will leave this as my last post OP. The title of your thread is : "Is it just me or is windows mobile 6.5 terrible" , that doesn't sound like an outreach for help. Then you come right out of the box by saying you have been using it and it's awful. I'm sorry, but sounds like you were complaining . People did try to help and I am glad you decided to heed the advice. I was merely pointing out that you started this as a complaint and not a request so much for help . It seems that maybe the couple of pages you read through offered no references or distinct solutions because there might not be a common issue of the phone freezing due to the ROM, hence the reason you had multiple feedbacks telling you to uninstall the suspect app first and then maybe reflash the rom.
I apologize if it this seems as if I am bashing you, as I don't mean to , but you have to be a bit more reasonable than just flying out of the box as a fairly new poster/reader ,and implying how awful the 6.5 is compared to 6.1 when it doesn't look like you even tried a fairly simple line of troubleshooting. There are some issues with every rom period, but if you go back and look at the many many responses and feedback after the release of the Sprint 6.5 after it dropped, I think you will find that there was a multitude of users who exclaimed the fluidity, and reliability of the new 6.5 ROM. OH, and if you want to switch to droid, you might even try running the droid OS that is in development stage but runs on the TP2 ,(not many droids out there that can run a version of winmo ) in addition to WinMO...here's a link ,
