what are you saying? no matter what happens to the phone, claim it as lost? what if the keyboard or mic goes out and the ribbon just needs reattaching or a lil solder or something? pay 100 dollaqrs to asurion? id rather just go to the store and wait 30 miniutes while they fix it as opposed to rolling with a broke pos for 2 days while asurion sends you a new one. and save 100 bux.

My last phone was replaced by VISA (400$), the purchase price of my previous phone.

when you purchase the new phone through contract, you get a receipt + it gets billed.

i hear the 9 year olds work pretty fast. 4-6 weeks now without your phone.
I had sent my previous phone for repair to HTC. The repair address is NY not Taiwan. They gave me an estimate th every next day and shipped the unrepaired phone back in 4-5 B days.

You send it to HTC and get it repaired for free while you use your spare Sprint phone

Re: Sprint Total Equipment Protection (TEP) = ERP + ESRP

well if it works for you, then dont get the extra insurance. im not dealin with amex just to get a phone replaced. btw, htc has no repair centers in the us. the key words in your post were they sent the unrepaired phone back.thats what usually happens. they deem it user caused. if it needed work, they wouldve sent it to taiwan and thats where it would ship back from. the htc us campus is strictly tech support and not repair. also, if amex gave me 400 dollars, that wouldnt buy a new tp2 as at sprint, they are still 599 or whatever. i cant count how many times my tp1 was serviced at sprint. if i had to deal with mailin it to htc or my cc company, i prolly just wouldve stabbed myself in the eye with a pencil.

This is the repair center address:
M.C. Service Partners
1850 Lakeland Ave
Ronkonkoma, NY 11779

Your second point is very valid which I overlooked that you get covered for only 399$. I will update my original post.
