Broken digitizer glass, where can I buy???

So, the first time I drop my beloved TP2, the glass on the digitizer cracked big time. I have the insurance, but money is tight, so does anyone know where I can buy the parts and give the repair a shot myself? Verizon told me the warrenty was void as soon as it dropped, so I guess I really can't make it worse, and if it saves me a few bucks, well, that would be nice. Thanks all.

Same here on a Sprint Touch Pro2

. I found some information online for dismantling the TP2 but I am not confident if I can do the same!

its on this same thread on page 2, post 18 by hypnotic2010. a very informative document with pictures demo'ing a tp2 breakdown.

Sorry to hear about your TP2, you can find parts for most phones at cnn.cn. It looks like they have a digitizer for $23.99, not sure if that is the correct one or not. http://cnn.cn/shop/touch-pro2-digitizer-p-6576.html

I did the same thing...
Mine dropped on a stair and hit the side of the phone.. cracked a big V into the screen and now its spreading.

Phone works like normal but has the a cracks in the screen.

I'm pretty confident I can do the work, and I guess if I fail, then it's $50 and a few day wait until the new TP2 arrives. I have a backup phone standing by, so I can live without it for a few days if necessary. One would think they would use stronger material....literally this was a fall of about 18", I've never had a phone break from something so small.

That's through Asurion, but I also pay like $7.99 a month for the lower deductable. If I had the $4.99 plan, it would be $100.

I call b.s asurian is 100 i dont care who you are. deductible is just that a deductible. as for the digitizer ebay under 25 bucks i was going to go this route with last tp. but being it was 6 days old said it came shipped messed up. they replaced for free.
