G-Sensor Stops Working

I'm having a problem with the G-Sensor. This only started after flashing the new Sprint ROM. I am running SBP MS 3.5.3 and also use Pocketshield 3.2.9.5. I don't know if either of these are the cause. I ran them both on the 6.1 stock ROM fine. The features I'm missing most are the pocketshield unlock by gesture (flipping the phone upsidedown, then back to unlock it) and the pocketshield in call auto screen unlock. I'm not sure what stops it from working, but when it goes bad, the g-sensor calibrate tool doesn't work, teeter doesn't play (the ball gravitates towards one corner) and the only way the screen will rotate is if the keyboard is extended.

A soft reset will fix it, but only temporarily. I've been considering a custom ROM to see if that'll resolve it but I'm not sure that will help.

I have done several hard resets but the problem keeps returning. I don't think it's a hardware issue because a soft reset will fix it.

Anyone else having similar problems? Any ideas for solutions?
