I went to a vzw store today and i explained my Case to them, (how many phones i have had in the last month and a half) and proceeded to show them the touch screen problems. they guy at the service desk told me he didn't notice any problems with the touch screen. but he said he had a hard time scrolling down with the sliding page bar like in using the internet, in folders and in installed programs.
and then he told me that He can have another TP2 sent out,
Wow that is what i really want another refurb with the same or another problem.

i still have my Original not refurb TP2, im thinking of activating that 1 instead of the refurbs that i have, any thoughts, what would verizon say and what if i have another problem down the road.

Sounds like we have the exact same issue going on here. How do you have multiple touch pro 2's though is my question? Whats on your contract and whats off contract, or do you even have a contract at all?

I had them send me out another refurb. Its my only option unless i wanna pay out the you know what to end my contract or for a new device

i have a total of 3 tp2's rite now, the first 1 they sent me 2 weeks ago because of a data problem, then i got another 1 last week cause all of the keys on the 2 lower keyboard rows were sticking. i just haven't sent them back yet. i just renewed my contract in order to buy a new tp2 in feb.

Were you the one with the post asking whether to keep the refurb or the original because the problem stopped? I think I commented on it. And there's a deadline for when you have to return them I believe or they'll charge you

yeah there is a deadline the tech told me to keep it for 10days, i was gonna send them out friday but didnt get a chance so monday they both go out

i didn't request 1 today, ill put up with it for now, im just so aggrevated about the situation. ill think about it this week. let us know how your Like new 1 is when you get it. Hopefully it will be 100%

Well I got my replacement today. Same as before, except the one its replacing had the Sprint trim rather than Verizon. Someone messed up at the factory (See this post). The new one is back to the black gloss trim. The phone I got as replacement today came stock with Verizon 6.5 with Sense 2.1. I upgraded already to the latest MightyROM. Running very smooth and the phone feels new (slider, buttons, screen). No scratches whatsoever...that's a first, considering all my other replacements from HTC came "pre-scratched". Hopefully this one lasts longer than others I've had previous. If I can make it through summer with this phone it will be a miracle without the screen getting rainbow banding again. If anyone has questions on Verizons replacement phone policies (not insurance claim), let me know. I'm a pro by now
