Why do people like using Swype? It seems more complicated than useful.

I was using V1.61 about a month or two back then one day it stopped working. You couldn't slide to text you could only tap to text. Its like they somehow stopped it from working.

Then I started using V2.44. however when I tap to start sliding the tab is off base. for example Ill hit delete or backspace and it will slide from an "O" to a "K". MEANING V2.44 has bugs and is not a preferred Swype to use. or when I mean to tap it does a sliding text.

Ah, OK. I got you. I found version "2.4.44 Hacked" which works fine on my Touch Pro2. There are quite a few versions out there for HVGA phones.

Well thats strange because I find 2.44 is buggy as hell.

Anyone else in this thread using a BUG free version of SWYPE for TP2 ANDROID?
