Thumbs down seidio = bad customer service ?

ok so i got the inno case for my tp2 in december. i thought the plastic tabs that hold the case top to the screen portion of the phone were weak but i figured they "know what they are doing". so recently the top part cracked by the "HTC" logo and i was upset. i called and was told i have to wait 2-3 weeks for a replacement after i send the part back. this sucks ! now i have to rock my phone without a part of the case. im not sure but i do not recommend spending $50 for a case with seidio ! they nice thing to do would have been to send me a replacement part and then i would send the broken part back ! especially after spending $50 on a case. now i think im going to get a silicone case and say goodbye to seidio forever !

Re: seidio = bad customer service ?

I have had the same issues with my old Diamond, but last time I had an issue with my TP2 case, they sent me a case no questions asked after I sent an email for an RMA.

I got it just three days later and did not have to send the old one in.

Re: seidio = bad customer service ?

I had the exact same problem, except mine only has a small crack and is till usable. I went to the seidio website and filled out the RMA and they processed a replacement quickly without me sending anything back. I did get the run around when I called customer service, but once I figured out that I just needed to fill out the RMA, there were no issues.

Re: seidio = bad customer service ?

I just sent in a RMA for my innocase front cover, cracked in the same place the OP listed, and I ended up using superglue to glue it back together.. couldn't bear to leave the phone without protection, plus I have the holster for it and it doesn't fit right without the cover on it. I'm hoping there's no issues with it, first time dealing with Seidio and I'm keeping my fingers crossed their CS is worth the price you pay for their holsters.

Re: seidio = bad customer service ?

ive had my seidio case for about two months i remove it about 2-3 times aday to swap the battery.Never noticed my case damaged so after reading this thread yesterday, today i look up and check front piece by the htc logo and wouldnt you know theres a small crack.I had not noticed it,it can only get worse so im gonna take the steps for a replacement and i will post back here with how seidio resolves my situation, thanks for the link.

Edit: I did not buy my case directly from seidio i bought it through amazon.com dont know if this will make warranty change but should be interesting.

Re: seidio = bad customer service ?

I was looking at the back cover of my Seidio case (same scenario - have to remove the case to access the storage card to swap media files) and two of the tabs on the top have snapped off while the bottom two look fine.

Don't know if I'll bother trying to get another one or just wait until the bottom tabs break off and get a new one.

Re: seidio = bad customer service ?

Ive been a Seidio customer for 4 years, and only had a problems recently with a Extended battery cover for a TP2, the locking clip on the inside of the phone at the bottom broke off. things happen it only plastic.
I filed out a Rma 2 days ago, and today they replied saying they are sending a replacement within a few days.
I'm happy with there service, and will continue to be a customer.

I'm sure not everyone will be satisfied with there services,
saying that I'm AGGREVATED with VZW, I just bought another brand new Tp2 in March. and had problems already so they sent me a refurbed 1 after 2 weeks. i got the refurb and it had problems so they sent me another 1. this 1 aint bad but it is having problems with the left side touch screen accuracy. what gives
