Re: power button issues on 6.5?

Last time I had this I was going to reset, and I accidently popped out the memory card, and the phone woke up. not saying it is a fix, but give it a shot next time it happens...

Yeah, but that could be nothing more than the system being shocked into waking up because it lost its internal memory card.

Re: power button issues on 6.5?

Ok... I just uninstalled and reset after just about every cab I put on the main memory... This includes all home screen tweaks and still having the problem... I'm starting to think the problem began when I updated the prl and profile. I'm gonna recover an old backup (and not update the prl or profile) I know works and then reinstall all the cabs see what happens.

Re: power button issues on 6.5?

after reading a few post on this forum. i decided to uninstall HTC task manager and actually i think that solved my problem. finally no more having to manually reset my phone everytime it's stuck in sleep mode. maybe that was a reason why they decided not to add a drop down task manager for the stock rom 6.5 in the first place? well anyway it works fine now and functional running with SBP MS 3.5.3. now i want to test it on SenseUI to see if it doesn't get stuck in sleep mode. Cheers!

I doubt if this is the problem. I am using sprint 6.5 stock ROM and there is HTC task Manager and still have this problem.

BTW, if, may be there is HTC TM in Sprint 6.4 Stock, how can I uninstall it? No Stock programs show up in the remove programs.

EDIT: when you upgrade to sprint 6.5 stock did you install a task manager cab? it's that drop down list that was use to be found at the top right corner of the home screen like it had on the 6.1 Rom? because that's lacking on the 6.5 stock rom. when i install that cab i soon experience that sleep mode problem. but when i remove it followed by a soft reset my issue has been resolve for the time being. it's only been a few hours since i removed it and i have not experiencing that problem since then and i am now using SenseUI because it's the best interface imo.

We realize your pain. Unfortunately, no son of soil here knows the real fix.
