why not? I search them for info all the time.
I'm trying to get my old txt back from when I was using the palm threaded SMS and the PalmMsgV001 file. I want to reverse that into txts that I can back up.

there is a forensics file there about it, but they didn't find times.

just the other week, I loaded up a win 6.1 embed, installed the threaderSMS.cab and looked at my txts for 2008 and 2007. I found a txt where I was "I can't believe my gf is going to spend $2,500 on a dog". This dog is the best dg ever and playing with a ball at my feet right this minute.

ok, I got to about 2.6K and the phone is un-usable.
This is a lot worse than the 6.1 version.

oh man! I messed something off and need to resynch 17K txts to output to gmail.
my phone has been synching with myphone for 2hrs now.

Instead of everyone jumping through hoops to try and resolve this issue on they're own (or rely on ROM Cooks and Tweaks), please... please... PLEASE!!! Call HTC directly to report this issue.

I called HTC Tech Support and didn't even get an automated system and spoke to a real person to report the issue. They can then escalate to either they're software dept. who can then escalate it to Microsoft to release a fix to Sprint. Also report this to Sprint if you have the time so that it could be escalated as well. The more people that do this the better. Call HTC TS @ 8778786944.

+1 i like this idea, i think there are alot of issues we should be reporting to HTC instead of going thru drastic measueres to fix these types of issues.

but not everyone has sprint as there provider, i have Touch Pro 2 From Verizon and i am having the same problem and i dont have a huge amount of txt's on my phone.

The issue is definitely with Sense. If you turn off Sense and use Windows default there are no problems at all. My issue happens because I have about 650 contacts and no texts. I have a tech calling me back from HTC because they had to escalate the problem = level one tech's had no clue.

Having Used the Sprint 6.5 ROM, then going to Mighty's Version, then Mr. X's latest version which were both built off of the Sprint 6.5 but less bloated, I can say that I do not have the text problem you guys are talking about but I did while on the Sprint ROM. Seems like the Custom ROMs are the way to go for this issue, since they give you the good out of the Sprint 6.5 while taking out the bad.

What i did was Got the XT Hack Beta 2.. It has so many features and mods to Speed up your phone. my phone is about 40 percent faster including Text messaging..

ok, I am going to also give my 2 cents,

I had the same problem with many contacts and texts when I upgraded to sprint 6.5 rom.

All I did is to switch from threated to Classic and the viola, no more lag.

I believe is that in the treaded mode, all the texts form the same person load when u view a message and when they are thousands, it bogs down the phone.

I switched back to threated just to verify and surely enough the problem came back on.
Now I am on classic messages at all times (you loose the coolness factor with the treaded messages thought).
