Is there a registry edit to allow the text message notification to be cleared with a simple swipe over it instead of opening up the actual message?

Just finished reading this thread (three days later) and I just wanted to say THANK YOU ALL so much. What an amazing resource we have here! My last phone was the original HTC Touch, and it was such garbage that I was hesitant to stick with HTC at all, but I couldn't be happier with what I now have, and that's due much in part to you all.

PS ... maybe I missed it along the way but did we ever land on a resource (RAM) optimizer? It seems like my memory usage is high ... even though I'm only around 60%?

I'm sure this has been posted before, but after an hour I can't find the answer. In Notifications for messaging, the "flash light for" is greyed out. Is there a cab for this or a registry edit? Thanks

There have been several .cab's created to try and fix this, but all of them that I have seen end up breaking many other things. If I find one that works I will make sure to let everyone know

If you want your LED to flash when you have a new message, missed call or voicemail.. well you can't as it is greyed out. However the following registry entries can be modified to enable them. Reset after changes. Notifcation for Email sadly does not work

New Message:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
"AvailableOptions"=dword: change to 15

Missed Call:

Sprint TP2 using stock 6.5 upgrade.

Anyone notice that it no longer relocks after end of a phone call?

I use the lock on bottom right of home screen to lock phone. It unlocks when I get a phone call, but doesn't lock again after the end of the call (it did relock with all 6.1 ROMS I've used).

I've got the cleanup cab installed and otherwise same programs I had under other ROMS where it did relock.

I get problems now with buttons getting pushed without realizing since it doesn't relock (phone is in pocket and I'm using BT headset).

Any idea how to make sure it relocks after a call ends?

Why not just use the Windows Mobile one built in to the ROM?

It (not the Sense one) seems very similar to the WM 6.1 version and has the Rolodex-like alphabet list. For that matter, the Sense contact list does have the Rolodex-like list as well.

In what way does the WM 6.5 contact list differ from the 6.1 version? In what way does the Sense contact list not meet your needs?

Why not just go to start at top right. Click the outlook icon, now see contacts icon click that. It's like the old one some what. Not for nothing apps & programs never stays the same to long which I'm sure you know that later.

The Favorites is different in WMO 6.5 its like one page of everyone on it. And in 6.1 it would have 1 Favorites Picture that took up the WHOLE SCREEN and you would have to flip down or up like a rolodex and it would bring up each favorite even the T-Mobile touch pro2 kept it that way but Sprint just has all favorites on a page looking boring and you touch the favorite and it calls them my fingers are too big to try and touch the little gray part to text or W.E. Just venting
