sorry i mean task manager... and does it go up by the top right hand corner like the old one did?

wrong version of the home tab editor linked. you need 1.6.1 to work with 1.6.1 not 1.6.0

delete HTCVolume folder in Registry

Disable Notification

HKLM\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER\Flags. It should be 0 by default - change it to 4.
This stops the HTC notification manager running and restores the default WM functionality.
