Ok, I have another idea. I think I have the xda shutdown cab where you hold the power button down and it gives you three options. (Off Screen, Shut Down, Soft Reset) Tap on the offscreen and it should keep everything going for you running in the backgroung. Let me know if that works.

Change save location of MMS
Another BAttery Increase

But the main one which I was most interested in & have verified working & is able to survived soft resets is the data connection auto off - Disconnect Internet after 60 sec's.
This is crucial because I noticed that when you tap on the battery meter in the taskbar before, you see that the timer is still running with live data which is purportedly dormant or disconnected!
But this tweak actually turns off that data after 60 seconds. The timer doesn't show.
I just checked again just now coming back from the Facebook app.

What does this mean?

Well - if it works like it did on 6.1 - the 6.5 battery drain just stopped for me!
(btw - I cheated & used strra's cab that does the same thing & floating around ppcgeeks via search)

Also, in your link, it is mentioned that:

Default is #777 and should not contain anything about GRPS

where as my default is:

#777
~GPRS!

Also your link says the reg path as:

where as the correct path is:

HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings\

Just an FYI. By default, Sprint stock DOES contain "~GPRS"

I verified this on the most recent update, so now I leave it as is.

Mine is 1 right now. Dont remember if I did it or it is by default.

It is set to 0 by default.

you have to hit see more info when you are in the contact to bring up drive to.

Is there a setting I'm missing on WM 6.5? It seems all of my apps are being left open even after I close them. I know with my Mogul I used to have to press and hold the X to completely close an app but that doesn't seem to be working on 6.5. I'd rather they just closed like they did on the 6.1 ROM.

Also it looks like ActiveSync is staying on all the time like it was on my Mogul. Not having it always visible/active on the TP2 6.1 ROM was actually kinda nice.

1 - Have you installed the HTC Task manager Cab from post 4?
2 - Go to: settings > system > task manager > click on the button tab
3 - There is an option to change how applications react when you press the "X"
Soft reset and you should be good to go
