Re: Offical Bugs List with Sprint Touch Pro 2 - WinMob. 6.5 Update

When I added an email account (Gmail), I set the size settings to download "entire message;" however, only 6k or 7k are being downloaded, rendering email sort of useless (who wants to download each message separately? WWhat is this? 1995?).

I tried setting max size to 50kB instead, but same issue. Has anyone else encountered this? Or is this some fluke that is somehow my fault?

Re: Offical Bugs List with Sprint Touch Pro 2 - WinMob. 6.5 Update

One thing I loved about Sprint's original TP2 WM6.1 ROM was that the notification/alerts settings allowed you to adjust the "Flash light before..." setting. I hate that green blinking light (much like I hated the circle d-pad strobe light on the TP1).

With the new ROM, it appears that the setting to disable the flashing light is disabled for new email, new SMS, etc! The setting is grayed out, and no way to change

I obviously think this is a bug with the ROM, so posting here. But does anybody know a tweak to disable the flashing light? This is seriously enough of a dealbreaker for me to go back to 6.1

- No, it's not registry settings
- There's a pagepool changer utility (attached) that you need to run on the .nbh before you flash it. It changes a couple bytes in the .nbh
- Run the Sprint update .exe, and click Next to let it extract. Stop. Don't go further with the update.
- Go to C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Local\Temp and copy the most recently time-stamped folder somewhere like your desktop. Name will be something like pftDA6C.tmp, but it'll vary.
- Cancel the Sprint update program
- Extract the zipped pagepool changer into the folder. Run it, selecting the .nbh file. Pick a different number. Make sure you click "Change To" before "Close". Try 20 or 24.
- Then run ROMUpdateUtility.exe to flash

Good luck!

These items can be changed through the registry settings in HKCU\Control Panel\Notifications Go through each one and enable all settings. AvailableOptions should be set to 15 for d word

There is a cab for LED notifications around, do a quick search. Run it and you will be able to change that setting. Hell... here it is!!
Attached Files
File Type: cab Notification LED Enable Options.cab (2.6 KB, 261 views) Click for barcode!
