Re: Offical Bugs List with Sprint Touch Pro 2 - WinMob. 6.5 Update

Possible bug:
Booting up with headphones plugged in results in no sound. Even if you unplug, there's still no sound until you soft reset with headphones disconnected.

Nathan, this "bug" has existed since before dinosaurs walked the earth. From a tech standpoint, I believe its caused by the amplifier that runs the back speaker not being turned on. Anyone wanna debate this with me?

It is not just isolated to this Sprint flop they put out.

Remove headphones before booting and you will be fine. I promise.

Headphones physically plugged in? Metal making contact with metal. Do phones still do that? lol! Sorry!

Re: Offical Bugs List with Sprint Touch Pro 2 - WinMob. 6.5 Update

I have an issue that no one else seems to have had - when I start Opera (9.7, the one that comes preloaded), I get "Invalid signature" error. I can't even open any of the bookmarks.

I haven't even installed anything on it yet - just hard reset and soft reset.

I donwloaded this from the megaupload mirror that CaliBoyPhillip posted, in case that helps. (not suggesting in any way that it has anything to do with CaliBoyPhillip)

Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to try another hard reset.

Before this, I was using the Silence 12 ROM.

I'm not sure if it is because of my upload as many have downloaded it but no issues towards it D: try a hard reset my friend, tell me if it still happens, in fact I'll download that same version i uploaded and flash to my phone right now to test it with you now this is commitment lol

Re: Offical Bugs List with Sprint Touch Pro 2 - WinMob. 6.5 Update

Did most of you clear storage after you flashed the update? I seem to have things working flawless so far. I want it to run a bit before I mod it up to verify some of these items others discuss but so far nothing wrong yet. Make sure most of you check your mods before you blame the OS. Yea I get it, it's stock but its a hell of an upgrade from the original ROM. Give it time people...

Edit..only glitch I have found is changing the sense tabs order makes the flip clock act a bit wonky....No biggie though. Nothing a bit of modding can't fix. In time this will be a nice ROM once its 'tweaked'

Yep, did another hard reset and still the same issue. I loaded up Opera 10 and that takes care of the issue for now, but I'm curious about why I get that error (tried so many different ROMs in the past- Mighty, Juicy, Silence and I never encountered it before).

On the side, I've been downloading the new ROM from the HTC site since this morning (and after running for almost 11 hours, it still has 20MB to go and its expected to take another hour.. lol). Once that finishes downloading, I'll try to flash that too just to check and I'll post my results here.

Either way, I appreciate that you took the time to:

1. Upload the file so people don't have to wait 12 hours to get the ROM
2. The commitment

Thanks.

thank you as well my friend, I'm just about done flashing the ROM lol! I really did download it, as i want to make sure my upload is working, waiting for it to boot now, I have to ask though, are you using any sort of back up files? I know that can sometimes cause problems, did you install anything what so ever?
