Offical Bugs List with Sprint Touch Pro 2 - WinMob. 6.5 Update

Please list any bugs you've encountered so far with the 6.5 update, (and steps to reproduce it). I can guarantee there will be a few things that pop up.

When I power off the phone and then power it back on. I get a very blurry background screen that looks like a bunch of circles. And it takes about 2-3 minutes to go away before the main screen with the time shows.

Backup your information and give it another hardreset?

i HAD 2 TP2S to do last nite. i did the hard reset after the flash on one of them, but not the other, so i could see if theres a big difference.

That is so funny....those circles you are looking at is the HTC Sence wallpaper. its supposed to be that way. LOL

while its showing these "blurry circles" does it say launching htc sense? if so, thats normal. if its taking a long time, hit the x up in the corner. ive noticed it does hang there a bit longr=er than most custom roms.

i cant get my live account to sync. every time i try it just opens opera and goes to live.com. ive tryed multiple times with multiple hard resets

I quickly concluded that WM6.5 no longer supports Live/MSN/Hotmail accounts at all--it expects you to use the web site instead. Ironically, WM6.5 (or at least our new Sprint firmware) does support Gmail right out of the box.

Time to switch to Gmail.

I figured it out, open up the windows live icon, sync your email account in there, close out and the account will now show up in the email tab.

Crazily enough, posters in other forums claim that Live and/or Hotmail accounts work properly--only msn.com accounts are no longer supported, even though they are all essentially the same thing, running on the same servers and web sites, etc.
