Re: Current TP2 owners--Best and Worst Phone
Thats a hard question. If your taking into consideration on what was available at the time. I think the best phone I had was my razr and xv6700. the razr was great, one hand texting, never had to look what I was typing. The xv6700 was way ahead of its times. 400mhz, almost 5 years ago! It was the start of the tp2. The TP2 is the best overall so far! My least favorite was my Touch Diamond, screen was too small to type on and it drove me nuts!

Re: Current TP2 owners--Best and Worst Phone
I like this thread, but anyway like someone said on the first page, pound for pound the 6700 was by far the best and the touch pro 1 was by far the worst. The mogul would have probably been the worst since my mogul got so many memory errors in comparison to the 6700 doing the exact same things but having to replace the tp1 so many times made it impossible to pick any other phone as the worst.

Re: Current TP2 owners--Best and Worst Phone
It's tough to answer "best" in hindsight. Each of my phones has been an improvement over the last (even the stinking TP1). Every phone I've gone from liking it at first to wanting more. So early in the lifecycle of each of the ones below, I was happy with and thought it was the "best." But towards the end, in the last few months before I got the next one on the list, I hated it! Or at least was getting frustrated with its shortcomings as I could see something better was available. Which is kinda where I am right now with the TP2.
Sanyo SCP-4500 < Samsung i300 < Samsung i330 < Palm Treo 600 < Palm Treo 650 < Mogul < Touch < Touch Pro < Touch Pro 2 < Anything with a snapdragon! |

the best phone i have ever used by far is the Nexus One. tp1 was the worst, i've never had so many exchanges for 1 phone.

Best Phone was my Samsung SPH-N200 (Blue Version) CNET Review
My Worst phone, by far, was my HTC Mogul. The Biggest POS on the planet, I cannot believe they undercut the memory on that thing, GAHHHH so many lockups and resets, I remember I sent my last refurb back in the mail with the screen still froze all white, LOL I know the mailman was like "WTF"? LOL |

Re: Current TP2 owners--Best and Worst Phone
My favorite phone was a Sanyo M1, the battery lasted damn near a week. My least favorite was the Blade. My first PPC was the Mogul, loved the hardware hated the RAM. I enjoyed all my smartphones even the TP1.

Re: Current TP2 owners--Best and Worst Phone
best phone ever is my tp2. only smart phone i've owned but the moto q9c.
best dumb phone is this old samsung: http://r.phonedog.com/shared/images/items/1077-main-small-samsung-sch-a650.jpg first one last 3 years, got washed in the washing machine once, dropped into the pool once and still didn't die. my wife killed it by trying to flick the wrist open it, and it snapped the hinge. got a replacement free phone from sprint, some black samsung flip with 2 screens. piece of crap, no signal. ended up buying a replacement a650 on ebay and used it another 2 years till i got my q9c. my wife goes through more phones than me. from the sanyo 8200, to the palm 755p, to the q9c, back to the 755p, then onto the instinct s30. she loves the instinct for what she needs. she can type fast with her long nails on it. |
