best phone ever is my tp2. only smart phone i've owned but the moto q9c.
best dumb phone is this old samsung:

first one last 3 years, got washed in the washing machine once, dropped into the pool once and still didn't die. my wife killed it by trying to flick the wrist open it, and it snapped the hinge.
got a replacement free phone from sprint, some black samsung flip with 2 screens. piece of crap, no signal. ended up buying a replacement a650 on ebay and used it another 2 years till i got my q9c.
my wife goes through more phones than me. from the sanyo 8200, to the palm 755p, to the q9c, back to the 755p, then onto the instinct s30. she loves the instinct for what she needs. she can type fast with her long nails on it.
