Remember, the Droid overclocks to 1.1 gigs- which gives it a faster clock speed than the Nexus. 2: Again, the Droid actually has a better resolution than the Nexus. there is just no way you can spin that into a negative for the Droid. teh screens are the same size, but one of them has a better resolution. Therefore, it HAS to be a sharper image. 3: Everything I am seeing lists them both at 3.7 mm. If the Nexus does in fact have a slightly larger screen (less than a mm) and yet a worse resolution, then that would make the Droid have even sharper images. 4: Same width, Droid is 3 mm shorter, Droid is 2 mm deeper. Looks like the same size to me. 5: It's no TP2 keyboard, no argument there. the TP2 has the best keyboard any phone has ever had up to this point. But the Droid's keyboard is still better than nothing. The Droid's keyboard is about like the PPC-6700's keyboard. We all loved that keyboard a few years ago. No, it's not a great keyboard by today's standards, but it is most definitely better than nothing. 6: Yes, Droid ships with 2.0. But you can easily update it to 2.1 if you want. 7: Wrong. First of all, 32 gig microsd cards don't exist yet, so I know you don't have any of those laying around. If you're talking full size SD cards- they don't work in either of these phones so why bring it up? Why not just tell me about your 500 gig external hard drive? It would be just as relevant as your 32 gig SD card. Second of all, the Nexus One does not ship with twice the internal memory- where are you getting that from? Here's the pda comparer: http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacomparer It lists the nexus one as having 512 internal and that's it. It also lists the Droid as having 512 + another 16 gigs. Where are you getting that the nexus one has double the internal capacity of the Droid? Nice job finally making an attempt to have a civilized and relevant discussion though. The pointless ad hominem was getting old. Last edited by BlackDynamite; 02-27-2010 at 12:42 AM. |

Re: have you USED android yet??
You also know he's a moron because he still comparing the screens. Yes the Droid does have 50 extra pixels but the dummy has never even seen an amoled screen. Salty you need to pass the shit your smoking that gives you the courage to even argue. Every time my drunk ass reads your comments its makes me laugh. Get your head out of your ass and go have a drink. You can't compare an amoled screen to whatever that other shit is. You sound stupid just like you did by saying the Droid has 16gb internal storage. Keep talking your showing your stupidity every posts.

Here's a copy and paste from the first post of that thread I linked to in my last post: "• OMAP3430 – 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 + PowerVR SGX 530 GPU + 430MHz C64x+ DSP + ISP (Image Signal Processor) Now, you may be saying to yourself, “Aww man, 600MHz? That’s only 72MHz faster than that stupid 528MHz chip killing the Android device market now! Why can’t they release something with Snapdragon? Blah blah blah Snapdragon. Snapdragon, Snapdragon, Snapdragon!” Well, this isn’t some processor with integrated graphics. What this phone is running is a separate CPU AND GPU. Think of it like a motherboard with onboard memory vs. a processor/graphics card combination. The processor/graphics card combination almost always blows away the processor with integrated graphics unless you’re buying the worst crap on the market. There is a real possibility that this combination will outpower Snapdragon for graphical applications. It has been stated that this device will be more powerful than the PSP, and if this phone can outperform a real-world gaming device, those goofy little games that you find in the app stores should be no problem at all for the phone, let alone having enough power to power the OS." And again, that doesn't take into account that you can overclock this to an even higher clock speed than the Nexus. And yes, the Droid does ship with 16 gigs of storage. Are you disputing this? And you have NOT played with them both. You said you only played with a stock Droid. If you didn't play with a fully maxed out Droid, then you aren't anymore qualified to speak on this than me. So we'll let the facts be the tie breaker, and the facts seem to disagree with you. Yeah yeah, I know, idiot, moron, dumb ass, blah, blah, blah, more ad hominem. Your problem is you think your opinion somehow trumps facts if you include a bunch of ad hominem with it. News flash- it doesn't. |

Re: have you USED android yet??
The storage card that's not built into the phone doesn't count as making the phone a better phone. Processing power, screen, these can't be changed that's why we're discussing those. Shipping with more expandable memory doesn't make the actual phone better. Damn you know you're arguing with a moron when they try to flip it instead of owning up. I don't even know what the nexus shipped with because it had absolutely nothing to do with my buying purchase.
