Not faster like the difference the processor makes but easier and prettier.
For me it is.
Why spend money on something that just repeats what I already do easily but just in a different package.
1 person's 10x easier/better is another 0 benefits.

If android can be proven to give me the FREE apps & easy customization as WM6.1+, & WP7 turns out to be none of that, then I will adopt.

Else, I have everything I need with only the tweaks added onto the stock 6.1. & I am a not chef or dev either.
I'll move forward with tech but not @ any price.

This is a respectful answer, like you said it may not be worth the upgrade and $ just to make life a lil easier, for me its definitely worth it.

hmm wife has had a pre htc hero and a samsumg moment (her current phone) so I think I have pretty extensive android experience its okay decent but I will stick with win mo

Re: have you USED android yet??

Winmo over Android = FAIL

I sold my TP2 after drinking the kool-aid and realizing how slow my phone was...even with all the hacks and tweaks.

Appraising Android over Winmo in Winmo section of the forum = Epic Fail.

Re: have you USED android yet??

I really love Android and I'm a huge supporter, but I have been and still am a big WinMo fan as well. I use the TP2 but my gf has the Hero and I love it. Her phone just does things faster than mine. Period. The only thing I don't like about it is the keyboard...ugh.

You're right. It doesn't suck but its not the best thing ever. =D>

If you not very tech savy, and you dont care how much modification control you have over your phone, then you need the android OS.
