Shattered my screen :(

It hurts to look at it But it fell out of my pocket the other day when I went to go answer a call..ugh. And on top I have no insurance. I went into a Verizon store today and I think they said the only thing I can go is to buy another one or to open a new line..Im thankful that the bottom part isnt messed up..I can still use it just fine for now..

Wow, that really sucks. Is there any way to just replace the screen? I'm sure it's not cheap but must be cheaper than replacing the entire phone.

I looked around around found I could buy just the LCD screen but finding a professional to put it in would be impossible. I really have no choice but to buy a new one since I cant get insurance..its been over 30 days since I had the phone. Wish I was smart and got it in the first place..wasnt thinking tho..

Don't know how Verizon works but Sprint is $7/mo +$100 deductible. I would gain very little through Sprint insurance as a NIB TP2 on eBay can be had for $300-$350...(note, have 3 phones on the plan and never had an insurance claim...money un-well wasted)

If you've got nothing to loose, then just search ebay for a replacement screen for TP2 and try to replace it yourself. There are probably videos available on how to take one apart.

Try a search on youtube. I replaced my brother's on his iphone and it was fairly simple after watching the video.

Ive got my phone to loose lol. I dont have a backup.

if you dont find a video, but end up replacing the screen, you should make a video

ive dropped my numerous times, always when im getting out of the car after ive been working for at least 10 hours

A quick search came up with this http://www.ppctechs.com/HTC-Touch-Pr...e_1547-373.htm but I've never heard anything about them. And the price is a little steep, but if you can't/won't do it yourself, it may be cheaper than buying a new phone outright.

Edit: And when you get it fixed or get a new one, definitely invest in a case!!

it HAD a case on it when it fell!!
