That really sucks and I feel for you. Would you be willing to give it a shot and try to fix it yourself? The way I look at it, if you're going to pay retail for it, it's worth a shot trying to fix it. If you can't fix it, as long as you don't totally destroy it, you may be able to sell it here (in the thread where you can buy and sell items) for at least a few bucks to a person who may be able to fix it. Maybe put a post up in off-topic asking if anyone knows how to replace the digitizer, that way someone may see the post and offer some assistance. Good luck either way.

No, Sprint's great for that, you can buy a used phone from e-bay or craigs list and still get full TEP. I'll take that even though our deductible is $100 versus Vzw's $50 since I can put piece of mind on my phone anytime.
