Re: sprint 5g cap on TP2?
I don't think the data will stop if you go over. I remember someone says the 5 gig was over a 3 month average. So you could really go over a couple of months and still be under the 5 gig cap.
Hope that helps. |

Re: sprint 5g cap on TP2?
Well maybe not. For tethering, its possible but not likely IMO. I go over 5 GB most of the time. Install the stealth cab and I think you will be fine.

I am using on average about 15-20 GB per month on two phones (plus my data card which is still under an old UNLIMITED plan). I never received any complain from Sprint or had any additional charges. I am also running data like crazy on Nextel (emails via WM Device) and I never hear them bitch around. Sprint lets you do pretty much a lot with their network and as long you stay within their system well you are in luck. I guess Sprint would not tolerate my hunger for data if I would be roaming all the time. I use one phone just as a radio and stream my favorite channels all the time. Sling Box is running as well quite happy on my phones and no issues from Sprint. Not sure if Big Red or the Death Star would be so good about it. But lets be honest, you get the Verizon coverage (voice and 1x) for a Sprint price and there is even a map for that ! |
