Which reg keys do you pull for Sashimi?
I used Resco Registry. Go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Sling Media. When you navigate to the "software" registry just hold the "Sling Meda" folder and your menu will pop up with the option to export. This will get all the entries for Sling. Just export this to your Shashimi reg folder and your good to go. I have been using this for some time. It was a real pain in the a$$ to go and set up the old player again with your favorites. This will bring them back.

I actually have my old sling player installed to my sd card so I just import these registry entries with Shashimi when I flash and I have have it to copy a shortcut to my media folder in my programs. It took me a while to set all of it up, but now I'm completely back up with everything within 10 mins after a fresh flash. Give it a try. No more Sprite backup for me!

SaltyDawg, did you uninstall your previous version of SPM prior to loading up the new CAB, or did you install it over the old version?

Also, something I had noticed in running the old SPM Ver 1.6 on my old Touch Pro was that the only way I could get the image to go full screen in landscape was to be viewing a standard definition channel. When I viewed a High Definition channel I would get letterbox as I remember.

.
I installed it over the old version, it uninstalled the old one automatically & it works great except it STLL isn't full screen.

Is there no portrait mode anymore??

It looks just like my ipod touch app now.

That works, but then the favorites don't work.

Re: New Slingplayer

I just downloaded the new version on my Sprint TP2, and it won't register. I called Slingbox support and they gave me a new product key, but it still won't register.

I had trouble with that at first also, but I re-typed it (even though it looked right) & tried again & it worked.

It is my understanding that with certain slingboxes you can get full screen. Sadly the regular old slingbox isn't one of them. Not sure which ones do give the full screen.
