Re: Winmo 6.6
Well I'm certainly not surprised about a delay. It's so typical of them, but I'd much prefer they work on their speed issues with processors and ui's than worry about some new "so called" improved os. I'm quite fine with even 6.1 if we had browsers and a ui operating at blazing speeds. The snapdragon of the HD2 has my attention, but I'd not return to tmos weak 3g system to acquire it. Id much prefer a speed tweak thru the overall os than wm7 delayed, delayed, delayed anyway.

Re: Winmo 6.6
I remember reading a article stating Microsoft will continue updates for WM 6.? for lower end PPC's, Remember there are no PPC that can handle WM 7(except HD2). Microsoft stated WM 6.? is here to stay for low end PPC and WM 7 is for there High end PPC. These are just speculation
I read all this last year in a article!!! Worry only if Microsoft says it Last edited by gutrrob; 01-14-2010 at 04:07 PM. |

The article I read stated there will be another WM 6.? by Feb-March This doesn't mean WM 7 will be delayed. Don't be disappointed unless you heard it from Microsoft. |

No evidence for a delay on Seven and MS releasing WM6.5.x is NOT news. I just love all the "delay" talk when MS has been delivering more updates, more frequently and on time. You can't have it both ways. And since there is no official release date for Seven, calling it delayed is just lame. This is a lot of FUD and poor reporting, imo.
