With Sense, you still get the HTC start menu/program tab. I could have sworn there's an option somewhere to use the WinMo start menu instead, but I couldn't find it on my phone.

I also had the Messaging appear in the title bar last night while the phone was on and active. I was playing a bit of solitaire and all of a sudden noticed that the Solitaire text in the title bar had changed to Messaging (or Messages, part is blocked out by icons in the title bar)

So, this occurs not just with SPB and not just when you wake the phone, apparently.

I don't recall there being an option however I know there was a cab that did this. I might acutally have it saved on my memory card, but I haven't installed it on this ROM. It did work in 6.1 VZW Stock.

You might check out this post "forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=539107" (currently can't post full links, LOL) . There you will find a cab to make the Manila program menu 4 columns wide, as well as registry imports (Addons.zip) to switch between Windows Start Menu and Manila Start Menu (when Windows Start Menu is active, a Manila Programs tab is enabled).

If you want to edit the registry manually, I believe this is what you do (after making the changes, need to soft reset, or disable then re-enable TouchFLO 3D in Settings | Personal | Today | Items Tab):

- Enable Windows Start Menu:

Goto: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila
Set "EnableStartMenu" = dword:00000000

Goto: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
Set "EnableManilaStartMenu" = dword:00000000

- Enable Manila Start Menu:

Goto: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila
Set "EnableStartMenu" = dword:00000001

Goto: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
Set "EnableManilaStartMenu" = dword:00000001

- Enable Manila Programs tab:

Goto: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila
Set "Manila://programs.page.hidden" = dword:00000000

- Disable Manila Programs tab:

Goto: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila
Set "Manila://programs.page.hidden" = dword:00000003 (or maybe dword:00000001)

Well, it seems like the problem might still be Opera. I was holding at 40-50% until I stopped at Five Guys. While waiting for my order, I did a little web surfing. I checked my memory after closing Opera, and I'm sitting at 65% now.

Is there a way to just turn Opera off? I prefer IE or Firefox.

No you can't uninstall rom software but just install skyfire and make it the default browser and you dont have to worry about opera.

Does anyone know if Spike's MicNeo Taskbar and Q-Mobile TP2 Battery Update for Verizon (for 1% battery read out) will work with this?

Spike's taskbar runs fine, not using the 1% battery so don't know about that.
