Re: Verizon Win6.5 out!

I have no battery drain issues with 6.5 and it pairs every time I get in my car. It must be something you installed.

so, to be clear, the correct proceedure is to dl the thethering cab from Mighty's first post in tips, tricks and hacks and then get the tethering fix from the post with juggs and mighty?

My battery drain issue seems to be fixed; however I tried two things and once and not sure which one fixed it or if it's a combo of the two. First I let the battery drain all the way until the phone shut off and recharged to a full charge before I turned it back on. Battery use seemed better, but I also turned off Bluetooth shortly thereafter so hard to tell. I want to run it a few more days this way and then I'll try turning Bluetooth back on and see what happens.

Note: I was having bad battery drainage issues (including draining while plugged into USB) with bluetooth off initially so there was definately a problem to start with after going to 6.5

No. I tested your issue by disabling the calendar tab in TF3D. Then I either click where it says calendar below the clock on the home screen, or the calendar button in the HTC start menu. For either one it simply takes me to the built-in Windows Mobile calendar application.

Weird! I redisabled the calendar (removed it as a bottom tab) and tried things again. If I tap the Calendar under the Call History on the home screen I get the old-style calendar (the full screen, white background one) If I go into the start menu and use HTC Calendar, it takes me to the Home Screen and no calendar makes it's appearance.

Went and put the Calendar tab back in via Customize Tabs in settings and tapped on the HTC Calendar on the start menu and the HTC Calendar (the new style) comes up happy as a clam. Repeated the process a few times and it just doesn't show up using the Start Menu icon unless it's also visible as a bottom tab.

I'm wanting the same thing for the same reason! I am about to install the new Mighty Rom and I would love the new versions of those programs. I got the visual voicemail cab ready courtesy of this post:

forum. ppcgeeks.co m/showpost.php?p=1477824&postcount=317

but I don't have the MMS cab. Also, Anyone know of CityID cab anywhere? I'm not looking to have a free one, I just want cityID on my phone. I'm willing to pay the subscription fee, I just need the cab. It's on the Imagio and the Imagio is wm 6.5 so you'd think it would work.

Latest VVM is actually 1.1.12.9. You can get it by using the "get apps" link on the VZW home page on Opera
