Look in HKLM/software/htc/supl agps and you will see that agps is disabled and there is no server info in the registry at all. On phones like the xv6800 this section had the ip address info for agps. So since all this info is missing and the agps is set to disable then it doesn't function

I see you have installed the ICS and Modem fix. I tried installing this, but it doesn't show up anywhere. Nor does it come up when I connect to my PC via USB. I tried to reinstall, thinking it maybe didn't take, but it tells me it's going to remove the old version, so I'm sure it's there. I just don't know how to activate it. Any words of wisdom?

Re: Verizon Win6.5 out!

My biggest concern is and I apologize for my ignorance but being so new to this device and any device like it, over the past three weeks I've had it I've been doing a lot of customizing the Reg to get it to do things it didn't natively do and with having don so much, it would be terribly difficult to do all that all over again as I don't even remember half of what I did.

So what I'm worried about is, will this upgrade wipe all those out?

As well I asked these before but, what happens after you do this upgrade if you have to do a hard reset?

Will it go back to 6.1 and then you have to install 6.5 again?

Is there anyway after doing this upgrade where if I backup my 6.1 and my BU program has a system restore, that if I don't like 6.5 or I can't customize it, that I can get 6.1 back and then do a BU restore?

I other words is the 6.5 upgrade uninstallable or do I have to somehow reinstall 6.1?

Thanks

Re: Verizon Win6.5 out!

Yes it will wipe everything out going to a new rom. If you hard reset after the new rom you stay with 6.5. You must re flash to go back to 6.1 again.

If usb tethering doesn't work try htc wifi router. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=4170499
