Verizon Win6.5 out!

I am confused guys. I am trying to run this rom so i can get the radio update and the program crashes on me when i run the .exe file. I can run mightysrom and any other roms fine. Any idea?

download this and flash it via the ruu or with the method in my sig or search for Mighty Mike packaged radio!! this file is just the radio it will hard reset ur phone!!

WinCE Cab Manager is your friend for making cabs.

And yes, you are doing it manually, but its more complicated. You're just making the regular and tethering NAIs the same. So that even if internet sharing calls the tethering NAI, it uses a username without the dun prefix.

Did yu just say the radio would hard reset phone? dont you mean soft reset? lol. Mine didnt egt the hard r4eset, I woulda crapped lol.

Edit: never mind just undestood what you ment. Never seen that file before, what is it for exactly?

Mine crashed on the 1st PC I tried it with. Caused the computer to reboot while the phone was in the bootloader. Fortunately, it was before the actual flashing started. I used another PC and the flash went fine.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! I just got off the phone with verizon. I recieved a referb phone the other day from then and was like ill check for 6.5... Last night there it was!!! I Updated. Everything was going good then I tried to use gps. Nothing. I talk to a rep today for 1hour and she confired this is official verizon update but it is not susposed to be released yet and it not fully supported on the network. I should be released in the next 6 weeks and the version she gave me was slightly higher! They are finishing working out the final tweeks but till then I am getting shipped another phone. (free of charge) so I will be able to use my gps properly.

hey... someone posted a .cab file earlier in this thread, named "PPST_091112_RhodiumW_VZW_1.94_delta.CAB". What does this cab do??

Someone else asked but no one ever answered.... my impression was that it would update the radio? But I thought that HAD to be a rom flash?

less hiccups, fewer bugs, mms working right out of the gate , etc......just speculating

I used MoShell prior with Mighty Rom 6.5 and it was definitely speedier and smoother but ended up going back to stock 6.1 for stability purposes as it seems friendlier with the stock roms .

Ditto, I've been waiting for the answer also. I think it may have something to do with unlocking GPS. But I don't know.

Anyone seen either the new Verizon Visual Voicemail app (1.1.11.95) or the new Arcsoft MMS Composer (5.2.6.45) in cab form? I want to install MightyMikes but I wanted the latest apps. Anyone with the know how wanna attempt it?
