I tried nimbuzz, but removed it after experiencing a memory leak whenever it was running. IM+ would be my first preference, but didn't want to pay the money for it. Palringo is what I'm running now. I like the access to Facebook chat.

Re: what happened to Yahoo/AIM Messenger?

I thought Sprint had a cab for AIM and Yahoo and MSN Messenger. Did it stop working?

True! and don't forget Skype chat now too on Palringo though its still in testing, I've had no luck logging in up to date, someday I hope, I'm happy though since IM+ is finally releasing an update this Month and it might have some big huge update...

Re: what happened to Yahoo/AIM Messenger?

BeeJiveIM is better than Palringo IMHO due to one simple feature: buffered chat logs.

I used BeeJive firstly and have been spoiled/cannot live without its visible contact message history persistent buffer on all conversations (re-loaded on every consecutive chat with same contact) on top of a very intuitive sorted by day chat sub-log.

Palringo has no sort of even basic logging (last time I checked a month or two ago). What good is an IM program if a person passes you important information or something worth saving/archiving that is forever gone as soon as you close the chat window?

Just my 2 cents.
