Re: text messages from the future Y2KX issue
I have a TP1. On my MMS it shows the date (minus year) and time for all messages not just the ones from today. On SMS, it is displayed as you stated and only shows the time if it's from today, and date if it is not.

Re: text messages from the future Y2KX issue
I had a similar threaded message sorting issue a while ago, possibly caused by doing a backup. Last night, I noticed the date showing on incoming sms;s instead of the time, I assumed the problem had come back. I backed up any pictures I wanted to save and deleted every message in my sms folders. Nothing. Come to ppcg when I got to work and realize, I'm late for the party.

Re: text messages from the future Y2KX issue
I for one highly doubt this has anything to do with the fact that the date is a "binary" string. for one its 2010, not just "10". The only thing that is off is the year, so i'd guess theres an issue in the year roll over.
Look at the years in binary: 2009: 11111011001 2010: 11111011010 2016: 11111100000 -> this patter looks more unique then the fact that the date is 01/01/10 |
