Not true at all. T-Mobile will have 21 meg HSPA+ rolled out network wide by mid 2010. AT&T will have 7.2meg HSPA in like 25 cities by the end of 2010 (T-Mobile has it network wide right now).

2 of your links dont work and the tmo speeds link say theoretical 21 mbs speeds.

Well i've said it once and ill say it again... T-mobiles speeds dont really mean much to me unless they improve their service here. If I have to stand outside to get hspa whats the point.

well i guess it looks good for tmo customers in the short run. when theyre done with rolling this out what are they gonna do? start on 4g? or just rock this badass 3g when everyone else is on to 4g? sprint will be on to somethig else past wimax. verizon will be happy with lte and tmo will still be 3 to 4 years behind.

Re: Is there a official 6.5 update for touch pro 2 for sprint
what your failing to relaize p-slim is that this is just at the beginning of this technology. As the technology matures the speeds get faster. Every test they do after a few months the speeds are faster and the distance it can cover has even increased. Look at it like this, first we had EVDO, then EVDO Rev A, and now even EVDO rev B is available. You didn't need a new device to take advantage of these speed increases with these new technologies. Like the mogul for instance didn't work on on rev a at first, but received a radio update to support it. The same will be true for wimax. HSPA is not as new of a technology as wimax, therefore it has already had time to mature. HSPA will not and mark my words BE FATSER THEN wimax when it's all said and done. If that were the case carriers wouldn't be switching over to LTE. Currently it may be faster but WIMAX is still being built and worked on. HSPA has pretty muched reached it's peak of about 21mbps. Just wait and see only time will tell.
