Is there a official 6.5 update for touch pro 2 for sprint - Page 17

Ahhh yes those online chat reps are horrible to be honest! maybe sprint should be cutting down on there online chat reps to save money as they have never once been able to help me at all, I personally won't mind if it comes out as 6.6 WM, as long as applications start being 6.6 friendly but I'm sure if they were to release it, it wouldn't be as buggy perhaps yet again chiefs would just take the builds and make it perfect =]

Yes, Sprint has confirmed this update, and thanks for the info Neudof, not new info though but thanks! I'm still waiting for this update just to see what it will actually bring.. anyone has any new insight? tweets? rumors?

I really don't get it. A 6.5 update just in time for Windows Phone 7? Is this a joke? Why is there such horrible lag for these updates? They really need to take the OS updating out of the carrier's hands. It must be embarrassing to have have the community roll out fixes and updates quicker than your multi-million dollar company.

I agree. But on the other hand, WM 7 is not designed for TP2. WM 6.5 will be the final update for TP2. And I like to believe this update will be Sense 2.5 instead of Sense 2.1. So let's give Sprint sometime because that's the only thing we can do, LOL.

you defintiely won't be receiving sense 2.5 with the sprint update. However a 6.5.x release is possible. sense 2.5 on tp2 from the carrier, keep dreaming.

That's a naive comment.
The community isn't running 50 product & service lines either in a multi$ for real business.
I luv the community support but every OS has bugs...period.

unless it has sense i don't think i will update. i don't see any advantages to wm6.5. i have watched software youtube clips for the att tilt2 which has 6.5. only differences i can see is the start menu change and the lock shortcut. i kinda like the programs page on our sprint tp2 the way it is.

When I read Sprint's last statement reguarding the update it sure does sound like they plan on modifing the Touch Flow interface that came with our devices.
